Work from home- Agnes & Dora

I wanted to give you a little insight on what it is like to work from home. This business is one where you keep all of your inventory so you sell based on what you have on hand and have ordered. I would never tell anyone that you need to go into debt in order to be an Agnes & Dora rep, this is not how we operate. You buy your initial kit which is the biggest up front expense of either $3500 or $5000, for that you get around 150-300 items depending on which kit you purchase and what they send. There is always a good mix of leggings, tops, skirts, dresses, etc. You also get access to your party site, you do NOT accept payments here, you can choose Paypal or Square. I use both of them. I use paypal for all online orders and transactions and I use Square for all of my in person events and transactions.

You will want to pick a referring rep that you get along with really well, she will become your person. You spend a lot of time chatting on text, phone, IM or vox, so you really want her to be someone you can get along with. This is probably one of the biggest things to look into, its not about how big her team is or if she wants to grow a huge team, its more important that you can be open talking with her. You will also have a team of people who are above her which you will be in a FB group with and they will also help with questions, ideas and more. Also if she has other reps on her team they will be your teammates and you will get to know them very well. It is truly a sisterhood for the most part, are there reps who are not the nicest or in it for them selves? YES!  There will always be those people no matter what you do. You just make sure you work hard to do what you need to do and ignore them. My RR is a good friend of mine whom I met years ago online, her team was only 1 person other than me when we started, we have since grown but the original ones of us still stay fairly close mainly because we were the only ones for a longer time.

Currently we only get "rep credits" for those under us, so we do not get huge paychecks or push hard to have a lot of reps under us. Basically we get a certain amount each month based off what our team below us orders, it's not a lot but hey its a good way to build inventory. We also have very low monthly quotas, you only have to spend $100 each month to stay active as a rep. If you have a team who is buying you need to spend $500 a month in order to earn those credits.

Okay so I think that is a lot of the info, so I will tell you a little about how I run my business personally. I run mine by cash only, which means I only purchase new inventory when I sell items, I also keep my inventory on the smaller side because its more manageable for me. I am wanting to get it back up to around 300 pieces because for me that is a good number, some reps go more or less.  You do not need 800-1,000 items in order to be successful, at first I was selling all my new stuff as soon as it came in so I could not really grow like I wanted. It also depends on what you order, if you order lower cost items then you can build your inventory based from there, which is a good way to do it because then you can have more buying power.

Also I want you to know it is not a sell it self type of business, nothing ever is. You have to work hard and find what works best for you. Some reps have just a business page on FB and not a group, some have both. The party site is nice because it allows you to drop your link anywhere for people to shop from. The groups are great because you can really connect with your customers and get to know them on a deeper level in a more private setting without worrying about weirdos finding you. The Business page is a good "cold market", some reps also sell on periscope. You can make a living selling on periscope, there are reps who do that its all about your preference. I like to do in person events, so I do open houses, vendor events and in home parties, but you can also strictly run your business online. I will say though that people who are local love to come shop and see new items and try things on, you can do this by appt if you have a busy schedule or don't want people just dropping by. I hope this helps! Please comment with questions you might have. If you want to join my team my link is butterflyboutiquebytricia.com and just click join me!
